• HISTORY The Tactical Trainer was established in 1986 as a simulator for the College, Formations and Units. The aim was to test plans, concepts, principles and practice procedures in every phase of management scenarios painted. The objective is to train a commander and staff without taking the whole Unit to the field.
      • VISION To ensure we keep up to date with realities of operational life at the Zimbabwe Staff College so that students train under realistic conditions.
      • MISSION Efficiently conduct, organize and assist in the running of Command Post Exercises (CPXs), for Zimbabwe Staff College Courses, Formations, Units and civilian authorities in an endeavor to achieve set war gaming objectives.
      • PURPOSE To practice and exercise on operational command and control, logistics, peace support, low intensity operations, communications and other  managerial scenarios including disasters.
