To improve professional knowledge of junior officers to enable them to take up Grade 3 Staff appointments and relevant regimental duties.
To introduce the officers to Air Power concepts and the tactical employment of all arms in war up to tactical level.
OBJECTIVES
To teach the students how to plan and manage training to Battallion level.
To describe the outline structure, roles and deployment of the ZNA, teach the organisations and roles of major Arms and Services, including basic adminstration and the outline organisations, roles of Air Force of Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe Republic Police.
To teach the Zimbabwe Military doctrine at Batallion group level and describe the doctrine at Brigade level.
To teach in outline, the employment of armed forces in LIO. Peacekeeping operations and Military Aid to Civil Authorities.
To broaden the military education of students ppropriate to their level in Defence Force
